2010 Summer Ceramics Classes for Kids

Join us for a summer of clay classes for elementary and middle school children ages 7 to 14. 

We will meet for 2 hours from 1:00 to 3:00 on Tuesdays & Wednesdays. 

Maximum 8 students per class. 

Session 1 Classes start Tuesday, June 22 to Wednesday, July 28

Session 2 Classes start Tues., August 3 to Wednesday, September 8

In the 2-hour classes, projects will include picture frames, plates, platters and bowls, mugs, sculpture, wall hangings and printing photographs on clay and much more.

                           6 weeks: $240…….1 class per week

                           6 weeks: $380…….2 classes per week

We have potter’s wheels, slab rollers and stamps.  Each class comes with clay, glazes, under-glazes, firing and instruction.

Jennifer Joyce's Pico Boulevard studio provides a relaxing haven for artists and non-artists of all skill levels to disappear into a quiet, nurturing environment and work with clay. There is a playfulness to working with clay, and that feeling is fostered and encouraged in the studio.

We also have After School & Saturday classes for kids.
